hi NY you are sooooo pretty. I think SF is pretty too.
Pushing aside crazy boy thoughts, life is pretty damn good! Just started researching recommended restaurants in SF and I’m now getting excited. Having never loved SF I wasn’t too excited for my weekend there before skiing. But I want to like it and the last time I was there was like…. 5 years ago. And it just seems difficult to get around. I’m staying in the Mission and it’s an hour walk to the Marina. I guess if I walked to the UWS it would take that long but like.. that’s as far as I’d go and it looks like there is way more south of the Mission? At least from what google maps says. Anyway why am I comparing NY to SF? they are completely different cities. I fly out tomorrow at 10:40am and will attempt to run 8 miles before that… we shall see. Courtney is picking me up from SFO YAY! then heading to Treister’s. Will frolick around, go to some pop up restaurant Alex recommends, housewarming at her new place, out and about SF style. Which means little drinking and bed at like midnight I think? hah Sunday hoping to shop around the Marina (I think that’s where shopping is?), lunch, dinner, embrace the 60 degree CA weather.
Then Monday flying to Mammoth for the week. Cannot wait to snowboard. Cannot wait for hot mountain men. Cannot wait to watch Shaun White dominate the slopes. And I cannot wait for booze and burgers on the slopes. Lots of Baileys.
Following Saturday flying into San Jose and will play with Courtney in Santa Cruz at her beach house!
It’s going to be great.
And now time for this week’s edition… 5 things to be happy about right now:
- Dean & Deluca apple fritter
- Snowboarding in 4 days
- My good health
- Carrot seed oil that makes my skin velvety smooth in the winter
- Peacing out of work for a week
Tonight I shall swim and eat delicious food at Alta.
ciao
