Slightly slippery run=slowing down? Is an 8:30 mile slowing down? NO what is wrong with me. But a 9:17 mile is! It’s interested seeing the calorie breakdown and how I burn more calories on the slower mile. I should probably read something about heart rate and how it affects fitness. I also act like I know I’m supposed to slow down but I am VERY new to this whole training thing and have no clue. (Alex help!!)
My run was so pleasant today. The moon was HUGE and bright and there was a tiny bit of snow on the grass.

The ground was a tad slippery so I stuck on … this makes sense to only people who run the Westside Highway… but stuck to the side where the concrete is different or something and not slippery (not like below. this was on one tiny path and I only ran on it for the photo). Ran 3 mi only stopping for 5 seconds to snap this photo. Oh and maybe 2 seconds for the photos above.

I wasn’t gasping for air and it all felt very easy. Which was shocking because I could BARELY drag myself out of bed. The debate I have in my head when my alarm goes off each time I want to work out in the am is hilarious.
Last night I went to a much needed yoga class. I needed to stretch, I needed peace and quiet, I needed to think about nothing. Went to Yoga High in the LES. Love that studio. And I chilled in a handstand, which felt pretty cool. I tried something new. It worked. Thought about placing my everything further than what feels comfortable and then just stuck it using my arms… that makes zero sense.
Went to Whole Foods to grab din and I usually just get the bar food, sushi or the pre packaged food things. BUT I’ve heard about this protein plus two sides for $8-$12 and opted for that. Got herb crusted tilapia, steamed spinach and butternut squash.

YUM and this is only half so I have the other half for dinner tonight! Yoga, Whole Foods, Bachelor, sleep = best night ever.
